8 English DangerTurn off the appliance and remove themains plug prior to any care and mainte-nance work.The appliance is maintenance-free.Prior to longer periods of storage, e.g. inthe winter:Î Completely drain all water from the ap-pliance: Switch the appliance on withdetached high-pressure hose and de-tached water supply (max. 1 minute)and wait, until no more water exits at thehigh-pressure connection. Turn off theappliance.Î Remove filter from suction hose for de-tergent and clean under running water.Î Pull out the fine filter in water connec-tion using flat-nose pliers and clean withrunning water.CautionProtect the appliance and its accessoriesagainst frost.The appliance and its accessories can getdestroyed through frost if there are any wa-ter residues in them. To avoid damage tothem:Î Store the appliance and the entire ac-cessories in a frost-safe room.Use only original KÄRCHER spare parts.You will find a list of spare parts at the endof these operating instructions.You can rectify minor faults yourself withthe help of the following overview.If in doubt, please consult the authorizedcustomer service. DangerTurn off the appliance and remove the mainsplug prior to any care and maintenance work.Repair works may only be performed by theauthorized customer service.Î Pull on the lever of the trigger gun; thedevice will switch on.Î Check whether the voltage indicated onthe type plate corresponds to the volt-age of the mains supply.Î Check the mains connection cable fordamages.Î Appliance ventilation: Switch the appli-ance on with the high-pressure hose de-tached and operate until the water flowsthrough the high-pressure connectionwithout bubbles. Switch off applianceand reconnect high-pressure hose.Î Check the water supply.Î Pull out the fine filter in water connec-tion using flat-nose pliers and clean withrunning water.Î Clean high-pressure nozzle: Removedirt and debris from the nozzle bore, us-ing a needle and rinse through with wa-ter from the front.Î Check water flow quantity.Î Slight leakage from the appliance pumpis normal. If the leakage increases con-tact the authorized customer service.Î Use spray lance with pressure regula-tion (Vario Power).Turn the spray lance to "Mix" position.Î Clean the detergent suction hose filter.Î Check the detergent suction hose forkinks.Maintenance and careMaintenanceStorageFrost protectionSpare partsTroubleshootingAppliance is not runningPressure does not build up in the applianceStrong pressure fluctuationsAppliance is leakingNo detergent infeed |
