14 EnglishATTENTION In case of extended breaks, switch offthe appliance at the appliance switch. Do not operate the appliance at temper-atures below 0 °C. DANGERRisk of electric shock. Never touch the mains plug and thesocket with wet hands. Check charger, mains cable and batterypack for damages before every use. Donot use damaged devices and get thedamaged parts repaired only by ex-perts. Check extension wires regularlyand replace them if damaged. Do not use the charger if dirty or wet. Do not operate the charger in explosiveenvironment. Do not carry the charger by holding themains cable. Protect the mains cable against heat,sharp edges, oil and moving parts of themachine. Avoid using extension wires with multi-ple sockets and simultaneous operationof multiple devices. Do not pull the plug from the socket bypulling the mains cable. Do not cover the charger and keep theair vents of the charger open. No metal parts should come in contactwith battery holders; risk of short circuit. Do not open the charger. Get repairsdone only by authorised experts. Use the charger only to charge ap-proved battery packs. Move only clean and dry battery packson to the battery holder of the charger. Do not charge battery (primary cells);risk of explosion. Do not charge the battery pack for long-er than 24 hours, continuously. Avoid contact with fluids oozing out ofdefective battery packs. Rinse with wa-ter in case of accidental contact with flu-id. Consult a doctor if fluid comes intocontact with eyes. Do not charge damaged battery packs.Replace damaged battery packs. Do not store battery packs along withmetal objects; risk of short circuit. Do not use the battery pack if dirty orwet. The mains voltage must match the volt-age mentioned on the type plate of thecharger. Do not charge the battery pack in explo-sive atmospheres. Protect the battery pack against heat,sharp edges, oil and moving unit parts. Do not cover the battery pack duringcharging and keep the ventilation slitsclear. No metal parts may touch the contactsof the battery pack, risk of short circuit. Do not open the battery pack. Get re-pairs done only by authorised experts. Use the battery pack only with the ap-proved charger. Do not dispose off battery packs bythrowing them into fire or throughhousehold waste. DANGER The appliance may not be operated inexplosive atmospheres. Never use the appliance to clean ob-jects containing hazardous substances(e.g. asbestos). Do not spray flammable liquids. Never draw in fluids containing solventsor undiluted acids and solvents! This in-cludes petrol, paint thinner and heatingoil. The spray mist is highly inflamma-ble, explosive and poisonous.
