English 13Apart from the notes contained herein thegeneral safety provisions and rules for theprevention of accidents of the legislatormust be observed.Warnings and notes that are attached onthe appliance provide important notes forthe safe operation. DANGERPointer to immediate danger, which leadsto severe injuries or death. WARNINGPointer to a possibly dangerous situation,which can lead to severe injuries or death. CAUTIONPointer to a possibly dangerous situation,which can lead to minor injuries.ATTENTIONPointer to a possibly dangerous situation,which can lead to property damage. DANGER The user must use the appliance as in-tended. The person must consider thelocal conditions and must pay attentionto other persons in the vicinity whenworking with the appliance. Check important components, such ashigh-pressure hose, hand spray gun andsafety installations, for damage prior toevery operation. Immediately replacedamaged components. Do not operateappliance with damaged components. High-pressure jets can be dangerous ifimproperly used. The jet may not be di-rected at persons, animals, live electri-cal equipment or at the appliance itself. The high-pressure jet must not be di-rected at other persons or the user him-/herself to clean clothing or footwear. Vehicle tyres/tyre valves are suscepti-ble to damage from the high-pressurejet and may burst. The first indication forthis is a discolouration of the tyre. Dam-aged vehicle tyres/tyre valves are peril-ous. Keep a minimum jet distance of30 cm during cleaning! Keep packaging films away from chil-dren, there is a risk of suffocation! WARNING Do not use the appliance when thereare other persons around unless theyare also wearing protective clothing. The appliance must not be operated bychildren or persons who have not beeninstructed accordingly. This appliance is not intended for useby persons with limited physical, senso-ry or mental capacities or lacking expe-rience and/or skills, unless such per-sons are accompanied and supervisedby a person in charge of their safety orthey have received precise instructionson the use of this appliance and haveunderstood the resulting risks. Children must not play with this appli-ance. Supervise children to prevent themfrom playing with the appliance. CAUTION Create stability for the appliance prior toany work on or with the appliance toprevent accidents or damage. The water jet that is emitted from thehigh-pressure nozzle results in a repul-sion power acting on the hand spraygun. Make sure that you have a firmfooting and are also holding the handspray gun and spray lance firmly.
