– 5 The oil level must be at the centre of theoil level display. Open the device hood. Unscrew the screw plug. Screw in oil filling screw. Close cover. Adjust the push handle on the appliance. Secure the push handle by means ofthe mushroom head bolts and the starknobs. Connect spray lance to trigger gun. Install nozzle with nozzle screw at thespray lance. Bolt the high-pressure hose on to thehand spray gun. Fasten the high pressure hose to thehigh pressure connection. DANGERDanger of injury by electric shock.The appliance may only be connected to al-ternating current.The highest allowed net impedance at theelectrical connection point (refer to techni-cal data) is not to be exceeded. In case ofconfusion regarding the power impedancepresent on your connection, please contactyour utilities provider.It is imperative to connect the appliance tothe electric mains by means of a plug. It isforbidden to permanently connect the appli-ance to the power supply. The plug servesfor the disconnection from the mains.Use the extension cord that has an ade-quate cross-section (see "Technical Data")and unwind it fully from the cable drum.For connection values, see type plate/tech-nical data. WARNINGObserve regulations of water supplier.According to applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water netwithout a system separator. A suit-able system separator by KÄRCHER or al-ternatively a system separator according toEN 12729 type BA must be used.Water that was flowing through a systemseparator is considered non-drinkable. CAUTIONAlways connect the system separator tothe water supply, never directly to the appli-ance!For connection values refer to technicalspecifications Connect the supply hose (minimumlength 7.5 m, minimum diameter 3/4“) tothe water connection point of the ma-chine and at the water supply point (fore.g. a tap).Note:The supply hose is not included. Open the water supply. Screw the suction hose onto the waterconnection.Note:If a suction hose with a check valve or filteris used, the hose must be filled with water. Deaerate the appliance:Unscrew the nozzle.Switch on the appliance and let it rununtil the water exiting is bubble-free.At the end let the appliance run for ap-prox. 10 seconds - then switch off.
