– 3– Do not use high-pressure hoses thathave been driven over, kinked, pressedor bent even if there is no externally vis-ible damage.– Store the high-pressure hoses in such away that they are not subject to any me-chanical load.Safety devices serve to protect the userand must not be rendered in operational ortheir functions bypassed.The switch prevents unintented starting ofthe appliance. Stop the appliance duringbreaks or after operation.The safety catch on the trigger gun pre-vents the appliance from being switched onunintentionally.– While reducing the water supply/quanti-ty regulation at the pump head, theoverflow valve opens and part of thewater flows back to the pump suck side.– If the hand spray gun is closed, theoverflow valve opens and the entire wa-ter volume will flow back to the pumpsuction side. The pressure switch onthe overflow valve sends a signal to thecontrol, which switches the pump off af-ter approx. 30 seconds of trailing time(does not apply to HD 16/15-4).– If the hand spray gun is opened, thepressure switch on the cylinder headturns the pump back on.The overflow valve and pressure switch areset and sealed at the factory. Setting onlyby customer service.The electrical circuit breaker breaks thepower circuit when there is no voltage inone of the phases.The winding protection contact in the motorwinding of the pump drive switches off theengine when there is a thermal overload.The safety valve opens when there is aproblem in the pressure switch. This valveis set and sealed in the factory. Do notchange the setting. DANGERRisk of injury! Device, tubes, high pressurehose and connections must be in faultlesscondition. If they are not in a perfect statethen the appliance must not be used. Cut off tip of oil container cover (HD 25/15-4). Check oil level of the high pressurepump.The oil level must be at the centre of theoil level display. Add oil if required (see technical speci-fications).Fasten the pushing handle with the fourscrews enclosed in the packet.
