Electrical ConnectionsWiring connections must be made exactly as shown inthe wiring diagram found on the inside of the heater door.The NEC and CEC also require that the equipment and/or appliances associated with the pool water circulatingsystem, including, but not limited to, pump motors andheaters, be bonded together as part of the equipotentialbonding grid. Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. provides aspecial labeled bonding lug on the manifold side of theheater to accommodate this requirement.All electrical connections and wiring must be done bya certified electrician only. Electrical wiring must alsobe in accordance with the latest edition of the NationalElectrical Code® (NEC ®), ANSI®/National Fire ProtectionAssociation® (NFPA®) 70, or in Canada, the CanadianElectrical Code (CSA® C22.1) unless local coderequirements indicate otherwise.The heater comes factory-wired for installation with 240Volt, 60 Hz AC field electrical supply. If the use of 120Volt, 60 Hz AC field electrical supply is required, Youmust first change the position of the voltage selectorboard on the power distribution board.
