You can enjoy movies in a relaxedmood.• THEATERYou can enjoy sound effects like in a theater.3 Press 5/∞ to adjust the effect level.You can set the effect level from [1] to [5].The higher value enhances the effect.To dismiss the 3D PHONIC windowPress 3D PHONIC.NOTES• The 3D PHONIC window disappears if no operation is made forabout 10 seconds.• The 3D PHONIC function works correctly only when playingback a DVD VIDEO disc recorded with Dolby Digital.• When playing back a DVD VIDEO disc recorded with DolbyDigital that does not contain the rear signal, you can change the3D PHONIC setting, but you will not be able to achieve a correct3D effect.• The 3D PHONIC function does not affect the Dolby Digitalbitstream signal from the DIGITAL OUT jack.• When the 3D PHONIC function is active, the [ANALOG OUT]setting in the [AUDIO] setting display is not available.• When one of the 3D PHONIC modes is activated, the [3D]indicator lights up in the display window.Checking the sampling frequency andquantization bit lengthYou can check the sampling frequency and quantization bitlength of digital audio during playback.During playback, press and hold downAUDIO - fs/Rate for a few seconds.The sampling frequency and quantization bit length of thecurrent digital audio are shown in the display windowtemporarily. When the audio is recorded using a surroundaudio format, the sampling frequency and quantization bitlength are shown for the front speakers.(Example)The sampling frequencies indicated are as follows:44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, and 192 (kHz).
