Setting up your TV9ENGLISHPutting the batteries into theremote controlUse two AA/R6 dry cell batteries.Insert the batteries from the - end, makingsure the + and - polarities are correct.• Follow the warnings printed on thebatteries.• Battery life is about six months to oneyear, depending on how much you use theremote control.• The batteries we supply are only forsetting up and testing your TV, pleasereplace them as soon as you need to.• If the remote control does not workproperly, replace the batteries.Initial settings (Setup tour)When the TV is first turned on, it goes intothe initial settings mode, and you will see theJVC logo. Follow the instructions on thescreen display to make the initial settings.1 Press the A button on the TVThe power lamp lights blue and the JVClogo appears.• If the JVC logo does not appear this isbecause your TV has already beenturned on for the first time:use the “LANGUAGE”, “TELETEXTLANGUAGE” and “AUTOPROGRAM” functions to make theinitial settings.
