13ConnectionsENGLISHConnecting the power cord to the ACoutletInsert the AC plugs on the power cords from the TV andreceiver into AC outlets.Caution• Operate only from the power source specified (AC 110– 240 V, 50/60 Hz) on the unit.• Failure to use the supplied power cord or to insert itinto a correctly earthed outlet may result in electricshocks.Use the supplied power cord which best suits the area inwhich you live.Attaching the ferrite coresAttach ferrite cores to the power cord.Using the power cord without ferrite cores may lead tonoise (interference).Open the ferrite core, insert the power cord and close theferrite core.Attach a ferrite core to each end of the power cord.Insert the AC plug into a correctly earthed outlet.The receiver power lamp lights red, and the receiver is inthe standby mode, when the AC plug on the power cord isconnected to an AC outlet.• Remove the AC plug from the outlet to completelydisconnect the TV from the power supply.
