Never use the unit’s analog output connectors,which output incorrect signals that may damage yourspeakers.● If you connect the analog outputs and digital outputssimultaneously, be sure to select the source of the amplifiercorrectly, or set the level control of the amplifier connected tothe analog outputs to minimum.Others Settings8 RESUME — ON / OFFWhen this function is set to “ON,” you can use the resumefunction. ( pg. 33)ON: The unit resumes playback from the position whereplayback has been stoppedOFF: You cannot use the resume function.NOTE:This function is not available for Audio CDs and MP3 discs.8 ON SCREEN GUIDE — ON / OFFWhen this function is set to “ON,” the unit can display “on-screen guide” icons or characters which show the conditions ofthe unit or disc.8 PARENTAL LOCKSelect this, then press ENTER to show the PARENTAL LOCKmenu screen for limiting playback by children.Parental LockThis function restricts playback of DVD VIDEO discs whichcontains violent (and other) scenes according to the level set bythe user. Scenes which are limited by this function are not playedor replaced with other scenes.8 COUNTRY CODESelect the code of your country/area. ( pg. 59)8 SET LEVELSelect the level of restriction.
