EN 354 Input receiving channel numberThe guide channelnumber, which isassigned to the TV orcable station for thePlusCode numberthat you entered instep 3, will appearautomatically on theGuide Channel Set Up screen.Press @ # to input the number of the channel onwhich the broadcast for the PlusCode number isreceived on the VCR or cable box, then pressOK.● The Guide Channel Set screen appears onlywhen you input the PlusCode number of astation for which the guide channel number hasnot been set previously.● If you receive your channels with a cable boxand if you have properly set your Controller,“CABLE CH” appears in place of “VCR CH”. Ifnot, refer to pages 15 – 17.In that case, it is possible to change the channelby 10 channels by pressing and holding @ #.5 Check program dataThe PlusCodenumber you enteredand thecorresponding timerrecording program isdisplayed on theProgram screen.Check to make sure itis accurate.● To change the start/stop time, date or channelsetting, press the corresponding buttons tochange the settings; START +/–, STOP +/–,DATE +/–, TV/VCR CH +/–.● To timer-record daily or weekly serials, pressDAILY (number “8”) or WEEKLY (number “9”).“MON – FRI”, “MON – SAT”, “SUN – SAT” or“EVERY _ _ _” appears on the Program screen.Pressing the button again makes eachcorresponding display disappear.● For the “SOURCE” setting, refer to page 39.● If you made a mistake, press BACK to accessthe VCR Plus+ screen again and input thecorrect PlusCode number.6 Set recording speedPress REC SPEED to set the recording speed.IMPORTANTIf you have moved to a different area or if a broadcastingstation’s channel number has been changed, the wrongVCR CH or CABLE CH number will be displayed on theProgram screen in step 5.
