36How the daily timer works:Once the daily timer has been set, the timerindicator and timer number indicator (1/2/3) are liton the display window. Daily timer turns on thesystem at the same time everyday until the timersetting is canceled manually or another daily timeris activated.When the on-time comes:The system turns on, tunes in to the specifiedstation or start playback the loaded disc with thevolume level set to the preset level.• The timer setting remains in memory until youcan change it.• Without canceling the daily timer, you canchange the source or adjust the volume after thedaily timer starts playback.1 Press CLOCK/TIMER repeatedlyto show “DAILY 1.”• Each time you press the button, the clocksetting changes as follows:2 Press cursor 2/3 to adjust thehour of the timer-on time, thenpress SET.3 Press cursor 2/3 to adjust theminute of the timer-on time,then press SET.4 Repeat Step 2 and 3 to set thetimer-off time.5 Press cursor 2/3 to select theplayback source, then SET.• Each time you press the button, the clocksetting changes as follows:• When selecting the tuner, press cursor 2/3to select a preset channel.• When selecting “DISC”, you can specify thegroup and track.
