Before continuing, ensure that the recorder is in theStop mode.a– For Automatic Start Of Playback After Tape Rewind......press REW, then press PLAY within 2 seconds.b– For Automatic Power Off After Tape Rewind......press REW, then press within 2 seconds.c– For Automatic Timer Standby After Tape Rewind......press REW, then press ‰‰‰‰‰ within 2 seconds.NOTE:It is not possible to select the Automatic Timer functions if thecassette's record safety tab is removed.Tape Position IndicatorThe tape position indicatorappears on screen when, fromthe Stop mode, you press FF,REW or perform an IndexSearch. The position of "5" inrelation to "0" (beginning) or "+"(end) shows you where you areon the tape."O.S.D." If you have several programmes recorded, you caneasily access any of them.NOTE:Before starting, make sure that the recorder is off and that theTimer mode is disengaged.ACTIVATE INSTANTREVIEW1 Press REVIEW. The recorder power comes on and therecorder searches for the index code indicating the startof the last timer-recorded programme. Once it's found,playback begins automatically.● The front display panel tells you how manyprogrammes have been recorded. If you have, forexample, 3 programmes, "REVIEW" and "3" appearand blink. To watch the first of the 3 programmes,press REVIEW three times. The recorder searches andbegins playback automatically. You can access aprogramme as far as 9 index codes away from thecurrent tape position.NOTE:Instant ReView is not possible while the recorder is in the Timermode.
