All couplings, threads and other parts of the extinguishing unit need to bechecked for cleanliness, and cleaned if necessary!2. All parts which are demounted for testing need to be re-installed expertly.3. After re-installation of all parts and re-connection of the water connectionthe safety valve needs to be checked. Fill the container with water and airpressure. The valve requires 6 bar +10% tolerance (6,6 bar). If the safetyvalve opens before reaching 6,0 bar, or if it fails to open at 6,6 bar youwill need to exchange it.4. Check the water container and the mounted fittingsCaution - note warning on page 8.4.1 Disconnect all water and air hoses from the container, and check the couplings.4.2 Remove the air pressure bottles from the holders, check straps for damage.4.3 Check the water container for external damage, scratches in the paint and corrosion.4.4 Check the water connection and the fittings at the container and the couplingsfor damage.4.5 Check the air pressure connection and the fittings at the container and thecouplings for damage.4.6 Check the manometer for damage.4.7 Remove the filling unit from the container by turning the handle anti-clockwise.4.7.1 Check the filling unit for damage.4.7.2 Check the screw-in thread and the o-ring sealing for damage.4.7.3 Check the reducing valve and spindle thread for damage.4.7.4 Check the safety valve for damage.4.7.5 Check the safety thread at the handle for tightness (KS13).4.8 Empty the water container and check the inside visually.4.9 Check the type plate and instruction sticker for damage and readability.4.10 Demount the filters (KS 21), and check for damage .(Filters are optional equipment).4.11 Check the fixing of the water container on the sledge.5. Testing of the water and air pressure hoses including couplings etc.Caution- note warning on page 8.5.1 Water hoses:a) Water hose from the Impulse-gun to the delta connector.b) Co-axial water hose (with air pressure hose inside),both ends, each with a delta connector.c) Connection of water hose to delta connection in the hose reel® Check the water hoses visually for damage.® Check the couplings at the hoses and the hoses for damage and cleanliness. |
