28LUBRICATION12/12 Each year Lubricate withgrease gun1/52 Each Week Filter change1/365 Each day Oil changeLevel checkGeneralRemove the ignition key to prevent unintentionalmovements during lubrication.When lubricating with an oil can, it must be filledwith engine oil.When lubricating with grease, unless otherwisestated, use a high grade molybdenum disulphidegrease.For daily use, the machine must be lubricatedtwice weekly.Clean away unwanted grease after lubrication.It is important to avoid getting lubricant on thebelts or the drive surfaces of the belt pulleys.If this happens, try to clean them with spirits. Ifthe belt continues to slip after cleaning, the beltmust be replaced. Gasoline or other petroleumproducts must not be used to clean belts.Wheel and Deck ZerksUse only good quality bearing grease.Grease from well-known brand names(petrochemical companies, etc.) usually maintainsa good quality.Front Wheel MountLubricate 3-4 strokes with a grease gun on eachset of wheel bearings.Front Wheel BearingsLubricate 3-4 strokes with a grease gun on eachset of wheel bearings.Deck SpindlesLower the cutting deck completely. Lubricate witha grease gun, 2-3 strokes per spindle through theopenings in the belt shields.IMPORTANT INFORMATION Use minimallubrication and remove excess lubricant so thatis does not come into contact with belts or beltpulley drive surfaces.TransmissionThe transmission is maintenance free. It is notnecessary to do level checks or oil changes. Ifa leak occurs, replace the unit or contact yourHusqvarna dealer.
