IntroductionProduct description and intended useThe product Husqvarna Multi Sling has 3 differentapproved areas of use:• As an anchor device to give protection against fallfrom a height• As a lanyard• As a Prusik loopThe product is used as personal protective equipmentin work positioning systems, restraint systems and fallarrest systems for arborists.The product consists of a rope with 2 eye endconnections. One eye end connection has an aluminumring. The rope is made of synthetic fiber.Do not use the product as lifting equipment as specifiedin EU directive 2006/42/EC.Symbols and markingsSymbol/marking ExplanationEN 795:2012-B Standard for transportable, temporarily mounted anchor device, protection againstfalls from a height.EN 354:2010 Standard for lanyards.EN 566:2017 Standard for mountaineering.ANSI Z133-2017 Standard for arboricultural operations, prusik loop.AS/NZS 5532:2013 Rating: single person/limited free-fall. Australian/New Zealand standard for anchordevices, class: single person/work positioning/restraint system.MBL Minimum breaking load. The breaking load specified is guaranteed by the manufac-turer at the time of manufacture.L Length in m.Ser. Nr. Serial number: Year/month of manufacture.The CE mark certifies compliance with the requirements of regulation (EU)2016/425. The number identifies the testing institute.
