A careless action can causesevere injury within a fraction of a second.• The vibration emission during actual use of thepower tool can differ from the declared total valuedepending on the ways in which the tool is used.Operators should identify safety measures to protectthemselves that are based on an estimation ofexposure in the actual conditions of use (takingaccount of all parts of the operating cycle such asthe times when the tool is switched off and when it isrunning idle in addition to the trigger).• Remain at a distance from the blade when the motoris running.Power tool use and care• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct powertool for your application. The correct power tool willdo the job better and safer at the rate for which itwas designed.• Do not use the power tool if the switch does notturn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot becontrolled with the switch is dangerous and must berepaired.• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/orthe battery pack from the power tool beforemaking any adjustments, changing accessories,or storing power tools. Such preventive safetymeasures reduce the risk of starting the power toolaccidentally.• Store idle power tools out of the reach of childrenand do not allow persons unfamiliar with the powertool or these instructions to operate the power tool.Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrainedusers.• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment orbinding of moving parts, breakage of parts and anyother condition that may affect the power tool´soperation. If damaged, have the power tool repairedbefore use. Many accidents are caused by poorlymaintained power tools.• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properlymaintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges areless likely to bind and are easier to control.• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.in accordance with these instructions, taking intoaccount the working conditions and the work to beperformed. Use of the power tool for operationsdifferent from those intended could result in ahazardous situation.• Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, cleanand free from oil and grease. Slippery handles andgrasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling andcontrol of the tool in unexpected situations.• Under no circumstances should you modify theoriginal design of the machine without approval fromthe manufacturer. Always use original spare parts.Unauthorized modifications and/or accessories maylead to serious injury or death to the user or others.• Make sure that no pipes or electrical cables arerouted in the working area or in the material to becut.• Always check and mark out where gas pipes arerouted. Cutting close to gas pipes always entailsdanger. Make sure that sparks are not caused whencutting in view of the risk of explosion. Remainconcentrated and focused on the task. Carelessnesscan result in serious personal injury or death.Service• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repairperson using only identical replacement parts. Thiswill ensure that the safety of the power tool ismaintained.• Never service damaged battery packs. Service ofbattery packs should only be performed by themanufacturer or authorized service providers.Cut-off machine safety warning• The guard provided with the tool must be securelyattached to the power tool and positioned formaximum safety so the least amount of wheel isexposed towards the operator. Position yourself andbystanders away from the plane of the rotatingwheel. The guard helps to protect operator frombroken wheel fragments and accidental contact withthe wheel.• Use only bonded reinforced or diamond cut-offwheels for your power tool. Just because anaccessory can be attached to your power tool, itdoes not assure safe operation.• The rated speed of the accessory must be at leastequal to the maximum speed marked on the powertool. Accessories running faster than their ratedspeed can break and fly apart.• Wheels must be used only for recommendedapplications. For example, do not grind with the sideof the cut-off wheel. Abrasive cut-off wheels areintended for peripheral grinding, side forces appliedto these wheels may cause them to shatter.• Always use undamaged wheel flanges that are ofcorrect diameter for your selected wheel. Properwheel flanges support the wheel thus reducing thepossibility of wheel breakage.• Do not use worn down reinforced wheels from largerpower tools. Wheels intended for a larger power toolare not suitable for the higher speed of a smaller tooland may burst.• The outside diameter and the thickness of youraccessory must be within the capacity rating of yourpower tool. Incorrectly sized accessories cannot beadequately guarded or controlled.• The arbour size of wheels and flanges must properlyfit the spindle of the power tool.
