3. Put the cutting blade on the arbor bushing (A)between the inner flange washer (B) and the flangewasher (C). Turn the flange washer until it holds onto the shaft.ABC4. Put a tool into the hole in the front belt guard andturn the cutting blade until the shaft is locked.5. Tighten the cutting blade bolt to 25 Nm/18.5 ft-lb.To reverse the cutting headWARNING: Only cut with the cuttinghead reversed if a standard procedure is notpossible.The product has a reversible cutting head that lets youcut near a wall or at ground level. Only cut with thecutting head reversed if a standard procedure is notpossible. If a kickback occurs, it is more difficult tocontrol the product if the cutting head is reversed. Thedistance between the cutting blade and the center of theproduct is longer, which means that the handle and thecutting blade do not align. This has a negative effect onthe balance in the product and it is more difficult to holdthe product if the cutting blade is pinched or stalled inthe kickback zone. Remove the cutting blade, refer toTo install thecutting blade on page 15.2. Loosen the 2 bolts and the adjuster to release thebelt tension.3. Remove the bolts and release the belt guard.4.
