105 310/315/315X 420/430X440/450X7.2 Winter storage7.2.1 The robotic lawnmowerThe product must be cleaned carefully beforeputting it away for the winter. Refer toCleaningon page 18.CAUTION: The battery must becharged fully before winter storage. Ifthe battery is not fully charged it canbe damaged and in certain cases berendered useless.Place the product in the charging station with thehatch open until the battery icon in the displayshows that the battery is fully charged. Then setthe main switch to0.Check the condition of wear items such as bladesand bearings in the rear wheel. Rectify ifnecessary to make sure the product is in goodcondition prior to next season.Store the product standing on all wheels andplace it in a dry, frost-free environment,preferably in the products’s original packaging.You can also hang the product on a Husqvarnaoriginal wall hanger. Contact your Husqvarnarepresentative for more information aboutavailable wall hangers.7.2.2 The charging stationStore the charging station and power supplyindoors. The boundary wire and the guide wirecan be left in the ground.1. Disconnect the charging station's powersupply from the mains.2. Release the connector lock and pull theconnector out.3. Disconnect the boundary and guide wirecontacts from the charging station.The ends of the wires should be protected fromdamp, for example by putting them in a containerwith grease.If it is not possible to store the charging stationindoors, the charging station must be connectedto the mains, the boundary wire and the guidewires the entire winter.7.3 Environmental informationThe symbol on the Husqvarna productindicates that this product cannot betreated as domestic waste. It shouldinstead be left at a suitable recyclingcentre to recycle its electroniccomponents and batteries.
