English - 32INSTALLATION3.8 First Start-up and CalibrationBefore the robotic lawnmower is operated, a start-upsequence in the robotic lawnmower's menu must becarried out as well as an automatic calibration of theguide signal.1. Open the control panel cover by pressing theSTOP button.2. Set the main switch to position 1.A start-up sequence begins when the robotic lawnmoweris started for the first time. The following is requested:• Language• Country• Date• Time• Four digit PIN code. All combinations except 0000are permitted.Dock the robotic lawnmower in the charging station andpress START.The robotic lawnmower will now begin to calibrate thecutting height adjustment. When this is complete theguide wires will be calibrated. Press START and closethe cover. The calibration is performed by the roboticlawnmower backing out of the charging station andrunning a calibration process in front of the chargingstation. When this is completed, mowing can begin.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONUse Memo on page 2 to make a note ofthe PIN code.3.9 Test Docking with the ChargingStationBefore using the robotic lawnmower, check that therobotic lawnmower can follow the guide wire all the wayto the charging station and easily docks with the chargingstation.The test function is in the robotic lawnmower Installation> Find charging stations > Guide > More > Test Guide Xmenu.
