English – 13SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSSafety instructions when using themachine!Protective instructions while working• Always ensure you have asafe and firm workingposition.• Always use both hands tohold the machine. Holdthe machine on the sideof the body.• Use your right hand tooperate the throttle.• Make sure that yourhands and feet cannotcome into contact withthe cuttingequipmentwhen the engine isrunning.• When the engine isswitched off, keep yourhands and feet away fromthe cuttingequipmentuntil it has stopped.• Watch out for stumps ofbranches that can bethrown out duringcutting.• Always lay the machineon the ground when youare not using it.• Check the working area for foreign objects such as electricitycables, insects and animals, etc, and for other objects thatcould damage the cutting attachment, such as metal items.• If any object is hit or if vibrations occur stop the machineimmediately. Remove the spark plug cable from the sparkplug. Check that the machine is not damaged. Repair anydamage.• If anything gets caught up in the cutting equipment whileyou are working, switch off the engine and wait for it to stopcompletely before cleaning the cutting equipment. Removethe spark plug cable from the spark plug.• Never allow children touse the machine.• Ensure no one comeswithin 15 metres whileworking.• Never allow anyone to usethe machine without firstbeing absolutely sure thatthey understand thecontents of the Operator’sManual.• Never work on a ladder,stool or any other raisedposition that is not fullysecured.WARNING!Cutting tool. Do not touch the toolwithout first switching off the engine.!NOTE!
