English – 17Final setting of the idling speed TAdjust the idling speed withthe screw T, if it is necessaryto readjust. First turn theidle speed adjusting screwT clockwise until the cuttingattachment starts to rotate/move.Then turn, counter-clockwiseuntil the cutting attachmentstops. A correctly adjusted idlespeed setting occurs when theengine runs smoothly in everyposition. It should also begood margin to the rpm whenthe cutting attachment startsto rotate/move.High speed needle HThe high speed needleH influences the power, speed, temperature and fuelconsumption of the machine.A too lean adjusted highspeed needle H (high speedneedle H closed too much)gives overrevs and damagesthe engine. Do not let themachine run at full speed formore than 10 seconds.Turn the high speed needlevery slowly clockwise untilengine speed is reduced.Thereafter turn the high speedneedle very slowly counter-clockwise and stop when theengine begins to run roughly. Then turn the high speedneedle slowly the minimumamount clockwise until theengine runs smoothly. The high speed needle His correctly set when themachine ”4-cycles” a little. Ifthe machine ”whistles” thesetting is too lean. If thereis too much smoky exhaustgas at the same time as themachine ”4-cycles” much, thesetting is too rich.MAINTENANCECAUTION! Contact your servicing dealer, if the idle speedsetting cannot be adjusted so that the cutting attachmentstops. Do not use the machine until it has been properlyadjusted or repaired.NOTE! For optimum setting of the carburettor, contact aqualifi ed servicing dealer who has a revolution counter athis disposal.Correctly adjusted carburettorA correctly adjusted carburettor means that the machineaccelerates without hesitation and the machine 4-cycles a littleat max speed. Furthermore, the cutting attachment must notrotate/move at idling. A too lean adjusted low speed needle Lmay cause starting difficulties and bad acceleration.A too lean adjusted high speed needle H gives lower power =less capacity, bad acceleration and/or damage to the engine.A too rich adjustment of the two speed needles L and H givesacceleration problems or too low working speed.
