To operate the product1. Start near the ground and move the product upalong the hedge when you cut the sides. Make surethat the body of the product does not touch thehedge.WARNING: Make sure that thefront of the cutting equipment does nottouch the ground.2. Adjust the speed to align with the work load.3. Hold the product near your body for a stable workposition.4. After each operation.Clean the muffler, exhaust pipe and engine from leaves, dirt and unwantedlubricant. After each operation.Make sure that the cutting unit does not move at idle speed. XDo a check of the stop switch. Refer toTo do a check of the stop switch on page6. XExamine the cutting unit for damages and cracks. Replace if it is damaged. XExamine the hand guard for damages and cracks. Replace if it is damaged. XDo a check of the throttle trigger lockout and the throttle trigger. Refer toTo do acheck of the throttle trigger lockout on page 5. XExamine the engine, the fuel tank and the fuel hose for leaks. XTighten nuts and screws. XExamine the starter and the starter rope for damages. XDo a check that the screws that hold the blades together are correctly tightened. XClean the air filter.
