469!TestingUse the test hose, part no. 502 42 45-01 to test run thepruning saw.WARNING! Never start the pruning saw if thehydraulic oil tank and hoses are not fitted. If thehydraulic oil tank is not fitted the clutch may comeloose and cause injury. If the hoses are not fittedthe engine cannot be revved up and the hydraulicpump and clutch may be damaged.Connect one end of the test hose (red cover) to theupper quick coupling on the hydraulic oil tank, and theother end (grey cover) to the lower quick coupling. Makesure the couplings click in place. Start the pruning saw.Replacing hose couplings.If a hydraulic hose breaks near a hose coupling it can berepaired with a repair hose coupling. This hose couplingcan be found in the list of spare parts, square P.Remove the bar and detach the motor. (see page 43.)Disconnect the pressure hose and pull it out a shortdistance. Cut the hose square and fit the new hosecoupling.Start by screwing the left-hand threaded outercomponent of the hose coupling onto the hose as far asit will go. (Thread can be lubricated with engine oil orgrease.)NOTE! The black outer casing must not roll up.Screw the right-hand threaded inner component of thehose coupling inside the outer part.RemovalDisconnect the hydraulic motor from the bar mountingand hoses.
