See the”What is what?” section to locate where this equipment ispositioned on your machine.The life span of the machine can be reduced and the riskof accidents can increase if machine maintenance is notcarried out correctly and if service and/or repairs are notcarried out professionally. If you need further informationplease contact your nearest servicing dealer.Throttle lockoutThe throttle lockout is designed to prevent accidentaloperation of the throttle control. When you press the lock(A) (i.e. when you grasp the handle) it releases the throttlecontrol (B). When you release the handle the throttlecontrol and the throttle lockout both move back to theiroriginal positions. This movement is controlled by twoindependent return springs. This arrangement means thatthe throttle control is automatically locked at the idlesetting.Make sure the throttle control is locked at the idle settingwhen the throttle lockout is released.Press the throttle lockout and make sure it returns to itsoriginal position when you release it.Check that the throttle trigger and throttle lockout movefreely and that the return springs work properly.IMPORTANT!All servicing and repair work on the machine requiresspecial training. This is especially true of the machine′ssafety equipment. If your machine fails any of thechecks described below you must contact your serviceagent. When you buy any of our products we guaranteethe availability of professional repairs and service.
