• Only use approved containers when you move thefuel or put the fuel into storage.• Empty the fuel tank before long-term storage. Obeythe local law on where to dispose fuel.• Clean the product before long-term storage.• Remove the spark plug cap before you put theproduct into storage to make sure that the enginedoes not start accidentally.Safety instructions for maintenanceWARNING: Read the warninginstructions that follow before you use theproduct.• Stop the engine, make sure that the cuttingattachment stops and let the product cool downbefore you do the maintenance.• Disconnect the spark plug cap before you do themaintenance.• The exhaust fumes from the engine contain carbonmonoxide, an odourless, poisonous and verydangerous gas that can cause death. Do not run theproduct indoors or in closed spaces.• The exhaust fumes from the engine are hot and cancontain sparks. Do not run the product indoors ornear flammable material.• Accessories and changes to the product that are notapproved by the manufacturer, can cause seriousinjury or death. Do not change the product. Alwaysuse original accessories.• If the maintenance is not done correctly andregularly, there is an increased risk of injury anddamage to the product.• Only do the maintenance as this operator's manualrecommends. Let an approved Husqvarna serviceagent do all other servicing.• Let an approved Husqvarna service agent doservicing on the product regularly.• Replace damaged, worn or broken parts.• Refer to the instructions for the cutting attachmentfor correct procedure to install the trimmer cord andcorrect cord diameter.• Keep the teeth of the blade correctly sharpened.Obey our recommendations. Also refer to theinstructions on the blade package.AssemblyIntroductionWARNING: Before you assemble theproduct, you must read and understand thesafety chapter.WARNING: Remove the spark plugcable from the spark plug before youassemble the product.To attach the loop handle1. Attach the loop handle to the shaft in compliancewith the illustration and tighten.2. Make sure that the loop handle attaches betweenthe arrows on the shaft.To attach the cutting attachment guardand the trimmer head (straight shaft)1. Attach the cutting attachment guard (A) to the shaftwith the bolt (L).2. Attach the drive disc (B) to the output shaft.3. Turn the output shaft until the hole in the drive discaligns with the hole in the gear housing.4. Put a small screwdriver (C) in the hole to lock theshaft.AABCL8 941 - 008 - 24.06.2022
