20 - English4Loosen the screws and remove carefully the coversover the brake spring. See figure 3.Fig 35Hold one hand over the brake spring and press ina small screwdriver into the spring. Carefully bendupwards until the spring is released and slides ontothe screwdriver, see figure 4.Fig 4WARNING!Exercise care to ensure the springdoes not fly out and cause personalinjury. Wear protective goggles.Cleaning and inspection• Clean and check all components carefully. Partsmust be replaced if cracked or show signs ofother defects. Always use original spare parts.• Measure the thickness of the chain brake band.It must not be less than 0,6 mm in any place.See figure 5.• Lubricate the knee joint with grease.Fig 50,6 mm6.2 Assembling the chain brake1Fit the knee joint and the brake band together.Place the knee joint with the fitted chain brakeband in the opening in the clutch cover.
