(mm)).General Mounting— The cabinet/enclosure must be attached to a solid surface(masonry or concrete slab) or to the wall framing members.— The cabinet attachment must be securely anchored to thewall and be designed to hold at least four times the weightof a full-loaded cabinet.— Enclosure mounting must be in accordance with allapplicable codes.— The maximum weight of the enclosure and its contentsmust not exceed 50 lbs.— Unless otherwise noted, the top of the cabinet is positionedat the top of the drawings in this document.— The cabinet must be mounted in the position shown.DrywallTo mount:1. Use at least four mounting points and all of the enclosure mounting holes must be aligned over the center ofthe studs.2. Use a minimum 1/4 in. (6 mm) x 2-1/2 in. (64 mm) lagscrew with flat washer and lock washer into center ofstud.ConcreteTo mount:1. Establish a minimum of four mounting points in the concrete and align with the cabinet mounting holes at thefour corners of the enclosure.2. Install carbon steel wedge anchors with 1/4 in. diameterx 2-1/4 in. long (57 mm) minimum screw (ITW Ramset/Red Head Trubolt or equal), per the manufacturer’sinstructions, to a depth of at least 1-15/16 in. (49 mm).3. Bolt the four corners of the enclosure to the wall usingthis hardware and a 1/4 in. (6 mm) steel split lockwasher.NOTE: Mounting hardware must meet U.S. GovernmentG.S.A. specification FF-S-325 Group II, Type 4,Class 1.MasonryTo mount:1. Establish a minimum of four mounting points in themasonry and align with the cabinet mounting holes atthe four corners of the enclosure.2. Install carbon steel sleeve anchors designed to accept1/4 in. diameter (6 mm) x 1-1/2 in. long (38 mm) screws(ITW Rasmet/Red Head Dynablot or equal), per themanufacturer’s instructions, to a depth of at least 1-1/4in. (32 mm)3. Bolt the four corners of the enclosure to the wall usingthis hardware and a 1/4 in. (6 mm) steel split lockwasher.95-7487—1 4
