In addition,a few minutes spent learning the functions ofthe various controls will enable you to takeadvantage of all the power and refinement theHKTS 11 is able to deliver.If you have any questions about this product, itsinstallation or operation, please contact yourdealer, the best local source of information.Description and FeaturesThe HKTS 11 is a six-piece home theater speakersystem that includes a 10-inch, 200-watt, bass-reflex powered subwoofer; four identical, 2-waydual-driver satellite speakers for use in the leftand right front and rear speaker positions; avoice-matched, dedicated, dual-driver centerspeaker; shelf stands and wall-mount bracketsfor the four satellites; and all of the speakercables you need to connect your speakers toyour receiver or preamp/processor and amplifier.The speaker cables and speakers all use a color-coding system to conform to the CEA standard.The color-coding system minimizes confusion,especially when the HKTS 11 system is used witha Harman Kardon receiver.The HKTS 11 subwoofer is easy to connect toyour system, since it’s equipped with a specialsubwoofer input for use with equipment thathas a dedicated subwoofer connection that car-ries a low-frequency output. It also includesstereo speaker-level inputs and outputs for con-nection to older receivers and processors that donot have a line-level subwoofer output. Otherconveniences include a level control, high-cut(low-pass) filter switch and phase switch forfine-tuning bass response to suit your listeningenvironment and taste, and an efficient switch-ing system that senses the presence of an audiosignal and automatically switches the unit fromStandby mode to Active mode.Shelf stands and wall-mount brackets are includ-ed for the satellite speakers, and optional HTFS 2floor stands are available separately from yourHarman Kardon dealer.Harman Kardon invented the high-fidelity receiv-er fifty years ago.
