22INSTALLATIONStep Four – Turn On the DVD 38Plugging the DVD 38 into AC power places it in Standby mode, whichis indicated by the Power Indicator (surrounding the Standby/On Switch)turning amber.NOTE: When HDMI connections are used, turn on yourtelevision or video display before turning on the receiver andDVD 38.There are several ways in which the DVD 38 may be turned on fromStandby mode.a) Press the Standby/On Switch on the front panel or remote.See Figure 16.Figure 16 – Standby/On Switchb) Press the Open/Close Button on the front panel or remote.See Figure 17.Figure 17 – Open/Close ButtonPressing the Open/Close Button will also open the disc drawer.c) Press the Play Button on the front panel or remote.
