Grip the haul/tail end of the rope withone hand and gently open the release handle with the other hand, allowing the ropeto pass through the cam block and lower the load. Gradually close the release handleand verify the rope is locked by the cam block. With a moderate load on the system,WARNING!DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED WORKING LOAD.AVOID SHOCK LOADING.open the release handle and release it. Verify the release handle snaps closed. Pullon the haul/tail end of the rope and verify the sheaves turn freely and you hear aclicking sound.- Lowering - To lower a load, carefully open the release handle while securelytailing the haul/tail end of the rope. Control the speed of descent by acombination of modulating the release handle and hand grip on the rope. To stoplowering, gradually close the release handle until the cam block locks the rope.Releasing the handle completely will immediately stop the lowering action.- Remote Release - To use the remote release, tie a stopper knot in the end of theremote release cord. Thread the other end through the hole in the release handle.Connect the Wingman MH to an anchor using a shackle, then connect the other endto the load. Thread the remote release cord through the upper shackle. While firmlygripping the haul/tail end of the rope, pull on the remote release cord to actuate therelease handle. Using both hands on the rope while simultaneously actuating therelease handle, gradually relax your grip on the rope so that it begins to slide throughyour hands. Modulate the descent speed of the load by a combination of adjustingyour grip on the rope and moving the remote release cord up or down.NOTE: Keeping the same hand on both the rope and the cord ensures that if yourhand travels closer to the anchor point the remote release eases and the loweringstops.Hold the remote release handle and haul/tail end of the rope together to control therate of descent. To stop lowering, ease pressure on the handle to close and lock it.Releasing the handle completely immediately stops the lowering action. Limit the loadto 300 lbs when using remote release.EXAMPLE:Release HandleShackleRed BlockCam (or Silver) BlockRopeRemoteReleaseCordFOR PROTOTYPING PURPOSES ONLYTION PURPOSES ONLYSURFACE FINISH:MATERIAL:DRAWING NUMBER REV.FINISH:PART #MFG.
