3130Recommendations for UsersBefore using these products,make sure that they are entirelysuitable for the environment inwhich they are used.Operation of these instrumentsin residential area could causeunacceptable interferences to ra-dio and TV equipments, requir-ing the operator to take all nec-essary steps to correct interfer-ences.Any variation introduced by theuser to the supplied equipmentmay degrade the instrument'sEMC performance.To avoid electrical shock, do notuse these instruments when volt-ages at the measurement surface exceed 24VAC or 60 VDC.To avoid damages or burns, do not perform any measurement in microwave ovens.All Hanna Instruments meters are warranted for two years againstdefects in workmanship and materials when used for their intendedpurpose and maintained according to instructions. The electrodesand the probes are warranted for a period of six months. Thiswarranty is limited to repair or replacement free of charge.Damages due to accident, misuse, tampering or lack of prescribedmaintenance are not covered.If service is required, contact the dealer from whom you purchased theinstrument. If under warranty, report the model number, date ofpurchase, serial number and the nature of the failure. If the repair isnot covered by the warranty, you will be notified of the chargesincurred.
