This prompt ap-pears each time the meter is performinga measurement.This indicates that the meter is in azeroed state and measurement can beperformed.A zero reading was not taken. Insert asample before adding reagent and pressZERO.Under range. A blinking "0.00" indicatesthat the sample absorbs less light thanthe zero reference. Check the procedureand make sure you use the same cuvetfor reference (zero) and measurement.Over range. A flashing value higher thanthe maximum concentration readable (seespecifications) indicates that the sampleabsorbs too much light, meaning thatthe concentration is too high. Dilute thesample.Light over range. The cuvet is not in-serted correctly and an excess ambientlight is reaching the detector. If the coveris properly installed, then contact yourdealer or the nearest Hanna CustomerService Center.Light under range. The zero sample istoo dark for proper zeroing. If this is notthe case, contact your dealer or thenearest Hanna Customer Service Center.The "V" indicates that the battery volt-age is getting low and the battery needsto be replaced.This indicates that the battery is deadand must be replaced.Note: once this indication is displayed,the meter will lockup.
