19VACATIONING PRECAUTIONSr 7XUQRNjWKHZDWHUVXSSO\IDXFHW7KLVZLOOHOLPLQDWHWKHSRWHQWLDOIRUGDPDJHWRyour home if a water hose ruptures or leaks.r Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet.r Dry the wash basket.r Leave the lid open so that moisture inside the machine can evaporate and toprevent the growth of mold or mildew.MOVING OR STORAGE PREPARATIONIn addition to performing the “Vacationing Precautions,” complete the followingadditional steps.r Disconnect the water hose and the drain hose and place them into the washbasket.r Turn the leveling feet so that they are fully retracted into the washer cabinet.r If moving the washer, place the wash basket brace from the original packingmaterials back into the top of the washer opening. Use masking tape to securethe washer lid.r Move and store your washer in an upright position only.r Do not store your washer in a cold environment where temperatures fall belowfreezing; store at room temperature. |
