Check the following, and try the proposed solution:■ Batteries are inserted with polarity aligned.■ Make sure the remote control batteries are fresh. If they are worn out,replace the batteries with new batteries.■ Make sure the remote control is within correct operating range.■ Make sure the remote sensor window is not under too much light,direct sunlight, or strong artificial light.■ Make sure there are no obstacles; check that there is nothing betweenthe remote control and the sensor window on the display.■ Make sure the remote control is aimed at your TV and is not fartherthan 16.4 feet (5 meters) away.The remote control does not controlother home entertainment equipment.This is not a universal remote control. It only works with your HPtelevision.My universal remote control does notfind an HP TV code.When you want to program a universal remote control to operate yourHP TV, if HP is not listed in the supported brand codes, use a Philips TVcode.
