Please read all instructions andback up your data BEFORE replacing the battery.Included Phillips Screwdriver Included Plastic Flathead ScrewdriverStep 1.Remove the four screws on the back of the PDA using the includedPhillips screwdriver. Set the screws aside for reassembly.Step 2.Once the screws have been removed, GENTLYpry open the Jornada case (starting at the top, asshown) using the included plastic screwdriver. Pryaround the device until the back cover comes opencompletely.Step 3.Remove your old battery from its seat, using the enclosed plasticflathead screwdriver to assist (as shown) if necessary. Leave theconnector plugged in for this step. The battery may be glued in,so pry under it GENTLY until it comes loose. Take care not to breakthe old battery while removing it.Step 4.Disconnect the old battery at the connector byCAREFULLY pulling outward on the connectorwith your thumb and forefinger or tweezers. Bevery sure that you are pulling outward on only thepart of the connector that comes out, as shown,NOT on the whole connector.(Steps 5 & 6 continued on back)
