The case can become brittle and easy to breakin cold temperatures and can melt or warp in hightemperatures. Damage due to either extreme is notcovered by your warranty. As a general rule, yourcomputer is safest at temperatures that are comfortablefor you.• Keep all liquids away from your computer. When spilledonto computer components, almost any liquid can resultin expensive repairs that are not covered under astandard warranty.• Avoid dusty or dirty work environments. Dust and dirtcan clog the internal mechanisms and can lead topermanent damage to the computer.• Do not block the ventilation fan slots. If these slots areblocked, your computer may overheat, resulting inunexpected shutdown or permanent damage to thecomputer.• When storing your computer for an extended period oftime, unplug AC power.
