This allows you to view the trip log, use the WhereI've been feature and use myTrends suggested routes.Reset: allows you to clear your travel history, reset settings ordelete all user data.Resetting Data and SettingsThe device offers several options for deleting your user data andresetting all settings to the factory default values.1 Select Settings > Device > Reset.2 Select an option:• To clear your travel history, select Clear Travel History.This option deletes all records of the places you havetravelled. Map updates are large and maytake several hours to complete.Software updates provide changes and improvements to thedevice features and operation. Software updates are small andtake a few minutes to complete.You can update your device using two methods.• You can connect the device to a Wi‑Fi network to updatedirectly on the device (recommended). This option allows youto update your device conveniently without connecting it to acomputer.• You can connect the device to a computer and update itusing the Garmin Express application (garmin.com/express).This option allows you to install map data onto a memorycard if the updated maps are too large to fit on the internalstorage.You can connect the device to a computer and update it usingthe Garmin Express application (garmin.com/express).Connecting to a Wi‑Fi NetworkThe first time you turn on the device, it prompts you to connectto a Wi‑Fi network and register your device.
