Insert the Garmin Mobile PC DVD-ROM into theDVD-ROM drive on your laptop.2. When prompted to install the Garmin MobilePC navigation software, click Next. Follow theinstructions on the installation wizard to finishinstalling the navigation software on your laptop.➍ Setting up Garmin Mobile PCNOte: Install Garmin Mobile PC before establishinga Bluetooth connection with your laptop.1. Press and hold the Power button on the GPS 10xreceiver to turn on the GPS receiver.2. Ensure that the GPS 10x receiver is within 30 feet(10 meters) of your laptop.3. Turn on your laptop and enable the Bluetoothcomponent. (Refer to your laptop documentationfor specific instructions about enabling Bluetoothwireless technology.)4. Open Garmin Mobile PC, found in the programsfolder or main menu on your laptop. The first timeyou open Garmin Mobile PC, it automaticallysearches for the GPS 10x receiver.After your laptop and the GPS 10x receiver haveestablished a connection, the blue LED on the receiverbegins blinking slowly.If the GPS 10x receiver has not established aBluetooth connection after several minutes, it turns offautomatically.
