9Installation InstructionsFind the studs, using one of the following methods:A. Stud finder.ORB. Use a hammer to tap lightly across the mountingsurface to find a solid sound. This will indicatea stud location.After locating the stud(s), find the center by probingthe wall with a small nail to find the edges of the stud.Then place a mark halfway between the edges.The center of any adjacent studs should be 16″ or 24″from this mark.Draw a line down the center of the studs.IMPORTANT: The microwave must be connected to atleast one wall stud.1Open the box and fold back all four carton flaps fullyagainst the carton sides. Remove the following itemsfrom the protective foam: installation instructions,filters, exhaust adaptor, damper, and the smallhardware bag. Do not remove the foam protectingthe front of the microwave oven.Then carefully roll the microwave oven and cartonover onto the top side. Remove the tape covering the turntablehub.Foam236Set the microwave oven upright. Remove andproperly discard plastic bags and foam.1The mounting plate is attached to the back of themicrowave oven.
