Use only dry pot holders—moist or damppot holders on hot surfaces may result inburns from steam. Do not let pot holderstouch hot heating elements. Do not use atowel or other bulky cloth. For your safety, never use your appliancefor warming or heating the room. Do not let cooking grease or otherflammable materials accumulate inor near the oven. Do not use water on grease fires. Neverpick up a flaming pan. Turn the controlsoff. Flame in the oven can be smotheredcompletely by closing the oven door andturning the oven off or by using a multi-purpose dry chemical or foam-type fireextinguisher. Never leave jars or cans of fat drippings inor near your oven. Do not store or use combustible materials,gasoline or other flammable vapors andliquids in the vicinity of this or any otherappliance.
