If your kitchen doesnot have a receptacle, you must have oneinstalled by a licensed electrician.FOR YOUR SAFETY:WARNING — Before beginning theinstallation, switch power off at service paneland lock the service disconnecting meansto prevent power from being switched onaccidentally. When the service disconnectingmeans cannot be locked, securely fasten aprominent warning device, such as a tag,to the service panel.All rough-in and spacing dimensions must bemet for safe use of your range. Electricity tothe range can be disconnected at the outletwithout moving the range if the outlet is inthe preferred location (remove lower drawer).ANTI-TIP DEVICEWARNING — To reduce the riskof tipping, the appliance must be secured byproperly installed Anti-Tip bracket packedwith this appliance.If the Anti-Tip device supplied with the rangedoes not fit this application, use the universalAnti-Tip device WB2X7909.WARNING —• All ranges can tip• Injury to persons could result• Install Anti-Tip bracket packedwith range• See Installation InstructionsIf you pull the range out and away from thewall for any reason, make sure the Anti-Tipbracket is engaged when the range is pushedback against the wall.Questions? If cabinetstorage space is to be provided above thecooktop, the risk can be reduced by installing arange hood that sticks out at least 12.5 cm (5”)beyond the front of the cabinets. Cabinetsinstalled above a cooktop must be nodeeper than 32.5 cm (13”).Make sure the cabinets and wall coveringsaround the range can withstand the temperatures(up to 93.3 °C [200°F]) generated by the range.REMOVE SHIPPING MATERIALSRemove packaging materials. Failure toremove packaging materials could result indamage to the appliance.NOTE: Cut the orange shipping ties from thepower cord, being careful not to damage thecord.
