If cabinetstorage space is to be provided above thecooktop, the risk can be reduced by installing arange hood that sticks out at least 12.5 cm (5”)beyond the front of the cabinets. Cabinetsinstalled above a cooktop must be nodeeper than 32.5 cm (13”).Make sure the cabinets and wall coveringsaround the range can withstand the temperatures(up to 93.3 °C [200°F]) generated by the range.REMOVE SHIPPING MATERIALSRemove packaging materials. Failure toremove packaging materials could result indamage to the appliance.NOTE: Cut the orange shipping ties from thepower cord, being careful not to damage thecord.
