Thevehicle can now be operated with the Handset connected,or the Handset can be disconnected before operation.NOTE: You can return to the segment check mode atany time, by holding down the ESC key until 8888appears in the display.Section 5.3.2 Status Code ScrollingThe SX and IT families of controllers furnish a functionregister that contains the last 16 “stored status codes”that shut down vehicle operation (a PMT type fault that isreset by cycling the key switch) and the battery state ofcharge reading at the time the fault occurred. The first ofthe 16 status codes will be overwritten each time a newstatus code occurs.
