See theinstallation instructions shipped with the productfor complete details and before attempting to installthe range.Power SupplyThis appliance features pilotless electronic ignitionfor energy savings and reliability. It must besupplied with 120V, 60 Hertz, properly groundeddedicated circuit protected by a 15-amp or 20-ampcircuit breaker or time-delay fuse as noted on therating plate.Wiring must conform to the National ElectricalCodes.Grounding SpecificationsGround Path Resistance 0.10 Max.Insulation Resistance 250 K Min.When checking for proper operation of theregulator, the inlet pressure must be at least 1 inchgreater than the operating (manifold) pressure asgiven above. The pressure regulator located at the inlet of therange manifold must remain in the supply lineregardless of whether natural or LP gas is beingused.A flexible metal appliance connector used toconnect the range to the gas supply line shouldhave an I.D. of 1/2 in. and be 5 feet in length for easeof installation. In Canada, flexible connectors mustbe single wall metal connectors no longer than 6feet in length.WARNING: To reduce the risk of tipping the range, the range must be secured by a properly installedanti-tip bracket. Follow the instructions packagedwith the bracket. To check if the bracket is installed and engagedproperly, look underneath the range to see that therear leveling leg is engaged in the bracket. On somemodels, the storage drawer or kick panel can beremoved for easy inspection. If visual inspection isnot possible, slide the range forward, confirm theanti-tip bracket is securely attached to the floor orwall, and slide the range back so the rear levelingleg is under the anti-tip bracket.Anti-Tip DeviceGas SupplyThis range is designed to operate at a pressureof 5 inches of water column on natural gas or, ifdesigned for LP gas (propane or butane), 10 inchesof water column.Make sure you are supplying this range with thetype of gas for which it is designed. This range is convertible for use with natural orpropane gas. If you are installing this range foruse with LP gas, conversion must be made by aqualified LP installer before attempting to operatethe range on that gas.For proper operation, the pressure of natural gassupplied to the regulator must be between 5 inchesand 13 inches of water column. For LP gas, thepressure supplied must be between 10 inches and13 inches of water column.
