Refer to Figures 1, 2, and 3 forport locations. The mini-dock can also be used as acharging dock for periods when the pen tablet is not beingused.This mini-dock provides the following interfaces:• PS/2-style Mouse PortUsed for connecting a mouse with a PS/2-styleconnector.• AC Adapter PortUsed for connecting the AC adapter to supplypower to the system.• Parallel PortOrdinarily used for connecting a printer.• Serial PortUsed for connecting a serial device.• Video PortUsed for connecting a video monitor for displayingthe contents of the pen tablet screen.• Floppy Disk Drive PortUsed for connecting the optional floppy disk drive(FMWFD2).• PS/2-style Keyboard PortUsed for connecting a keyboard with a PS/2-styleconnector.• LAN PortUsed for connecting the pen tablet’s optionalinternal LAN module to a LAN hub.Note: The mini-dock is required in order to use theinternal LAN module; there is no LAN port on thepen tablet.• USB PortUsed for connecting Universal Serial Bus-compliantdevices.FloppyDisk DriveFMWFD2Pen TabletPC CardVideoMonitorPrinterPS/2-StyleMouseMini-DockPS/2-StyleKeyboardUSBDeviceFigure 1.
