17Chapter 1Getting Ready· When the battery is running low, the time display screen is displayed even when themeasurement screen or [Menu] screen are selected, and the buttons do not function.Nothing is displayed when the battery runs out. Charge the battery right away.· Even if the battery runs out, measurement data is stored in the main memory.· Once charging is complete, an over-charge function is activated to prevent the batteryfrom being over charged. The device will not be damaged even if you continue to chargethe battery.· Charge in an environment with a room temperature of 0 to 35˚C.In any other environment [Charge Err.] is displayed, and chargingstops.When the internal temperature returns to a suitable temperature,charging restarts.· Even if you are not using the device, make sure you charge itonce every six months.
