11AlarmsThe control will alert you to conditions thatcould adversely affect the performance ofthe appliance.Door ajar - If the door is open, or notclosed properly, for more than five minutesthe System Status OK indicator will turn-off, the "Door Ajar" indicator will flash,and a tone will sound every 60 seconds.Additionally, an "ALARM RESET" indicatorwill be displayed below the"On/Off" keypad. This alarm conditioncan be reset by closing the door ormomentarily pressing the "On/Off" keypad,(i.e.-if you are cleaning the storagecompartment, etc.). The alarm will recur infive minutes if the alarm condition persists.Door Ajar onoffalarm resetDoor AjarTempPower failure - If power to the applianceis interrupted the System Status indicatorwill turn-off and the "Power Failure"indicator will flash. Additionally, an "ALARMRESET" indicator will be displayed belowthe "On/Off" keypad. No audible tonewill sound. This alarm condition canbe reset by momentarily pressing the"On/Off" keypad. If this alarm occurs,it is recommended that you check thecondition of any perishables, even if theappliance is operating normally and thetemperature has recovered. Prolongedpower outages could result in excessivetemperature excursions which may spoilperishables.Temperature alarm - If the storagecompartment temperature exceeds 10°Ffrom set-point for more than a one hourduration, the System Status indicator willturn off, the "Temp" indicator will flash,and an audible tone will sound every 60seconds. Additionally, an "ALARM RESET"indicator will be displayed below the "On/Off" keypad. This alarm condition canbe reset by momentarily pressing the"On/Off" keypad. If this alarm occurs,it is recommended that you check thecondition of your stored contents, eventhough the appliance is operating normallyand the temperature has recovered.Prolonged temperature excursions couldspoil perishables.Power Failureonoffalarm resetTemponoffalarm resetNOTEMultiple alarms are possible, i.e.- “DoorAjar” for a prolonged period may triggera “Temp” alarm, in which case both“Door Ajar” and “Temp” indicators willactivate.OperationNOTEThe system status “OK” indicator(blue dot at top of alarm window) willremain lit whenever the unit is operatingproperly.
