20 Setting the oven controlsCONTROL FEATURESREAD THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE OVEN. Forsatisfactory use of your oven, become familiar with the various features and functions ofthe oven as described below. Detailed instructions for each feature and functionfollow later in this Use & Care Guide.SELECTOR CONTROL KNOB- Use to select theBake, Convection Bake, Convection Roast, Broil orClean Feature.BakeConv BakeConv RoastBroilClean-Lock-RacksBROIL—Used toselect thebroilfunction.CONVECTION BAKE— Used toselect the Convection Bake feature.CLEAN—Used toselect theSelf-Cleaningcycle.CONVECTIONROAST—Used to selectthe convectionroasting mode.The oven can be set to bake at any temperature from 170° F to 550° FTo set the Bake Temperature to 350°F:1. Arrange interior oven racks, place food in oven and close oven door.2. Turn the selector control knob to Bake.3. The corresponding indicator light will flash.4. Turn the temperature control knob to 350. The indicator light will stop flashing and theoven will begin to preheat.A beep will sound once when temperature reaches 350°F.The indicator light will stay on until the Selector or the Temperature knob is turned to theOff position.5. When baking is completed, turn the temperature and the selector control knobs to Offposition.To change the Bake temperature (example changing from 350°F to 425°F):1. After the oven has already been set at 350°F, and the oven temperature needs to bechanged to 425°F, turn the temperature control knob to 425°F. A beep will soundwhen the oven temperature reaches 425°F.BAKINGBAKE— Used to selectthe bake function.OVEN TEMPERATURE CONTROLKNOB— Use to select the requiredBake, Convection Bake, ConvectionRoast, Broil or Clean Temperature.OVEN FUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHTS—Used to indicate which function is used.GETTING STARTEDWhen the unit is first plugged in, or when the power supply to the range has been interrupted,the indicator lights will flash and the control will beep. To stop the lights from flashing, turn theselector control knob to BAKE and back to OFF.
