7Operating InstructionsENERGY OPTION SELECTIONSSanitizeTo sanitize your dishes and glassware, select theSANITIZE option. SANITIZE touchpad will turnwhite. This option heats the water temperature inthe final rinse to 157°F (69.4°C) and maintains thattemperature for 7 minutes. SANITIZE is available inAuto, Cookware, and Normal cycles. Only thesesanitization cycles have been designed to meetNSF requirements.The cycle time will be extended until the properwater temperature is reached. Washing action willcontinue during the water heating delay. For bestresults, the incoming water temperature should beat least 120°F (49°C).If the SANITIZE option was selected, “SA” will bedisplayed at the end of the cycle. “SA” will notdisplay at the end of the cycle if the NSFrequirements for sanitization are not reached. Thesanitization criteria may not be satisfied if there isan interruption of the cycle, a power failure occurs,or if the incoming water temperature is below 120°F(49°C).To turn off the SANITIZE option, press SANITIZE asecond time. SANITIZE touchpad will turn blue.OPERATION SELECTIONSDelay TimeThe Delay Time option allows you to automaticallydelay starting your dishwasher from 1 hour to 24hours.Press the DELAY TIME touchpad until the desireddelay time shows in the STATUS window pressSTART/CANCEL to activate. Display will indicate thedelay start time and will countdown until cyclestarts.To cancel the DELAY TIME option and begin thecycle before the delay period is over, press theSTART/CANCEL touchpad.Child Lock ControlsTo prevent children from accidently starting thedishwasher, lock the dishwasher controls bypressing and releasing the AIR DRY touchpad for 3seconds. All the buttons except AIR DRY will beOFF and the display will indicate “Loc” and no newselections can be made until the lock is released.To unlock the controls, press the AIR DRY touchpadfor 3 seconds, the unit will display the last cycleran.
