Before installingthe range, you must locate andsecure the anti-tip bracket to thefloor.When the range is slid into position in thecutout, the left rear leveling leg slides intothis bracket to prevent the unit from tippingforward. The bracket location shown herewill position the rear edge of the rangetop frame flush to the rear wall. Do not attempt to disengagethe hinge catches with thedoor removed from the oven.The hinge springs couldrelease causing personalinjury.2. Do not lift or carry the ovendoor by the door handle.Open the door to its fully opened position.Rotate the catch over the retaining armon each hinge. Lift the oven door to abouta 30 degree angle from the horizontalposition. Pull the door away from the ovenwhile continuing to lift.30º2) Lift door up to 30º angle, thenpull door away from the oven1) To remove door, rotate catch upRemoving the Oven DoorRemove the Kick PanelRemove the screw at each top corner ofthe kick panel. Lift up slightly on the paneland pull forward to remove.Electrical ConnectionNOTE:See the range data plate forelectrical specifications. Seepage 1 for location.WARNINGS:1. All of these range modelsmust be connected to agrounded, metallic, permanentwiring system. Alternatively, agrounding conductor shouldbe connected to the groundingterminal or lead on theappliance.2. Do not use an extension cordwith this appliance. Such usemay result in fire, electricalshock, or other personalinjury.3. Do not install a fuse in theneutral or ground circuit. Afuse in the neutral or groundcircuit may result in anelectrical shock hazard.4. Do not ground the applianceto a gas supply pipe or hotwater pipe.5. A grounded cold water pipemust have metal continuity toelectrical ground and must notbe interrupted by insulatingmaterials. Any insulatingmaterials must be jumpedwith a length of No. 4 copperwire securely clamped to baremetal at both ends.Connection Instructions: This appliancemust be electrically grounded.With the range positioned directly in frontof the cabinet cutout, feed the applianceconduit into the electrical junction box.Then, depending upon local codes, utilizeone of the techniques on the facing pageto connect the appliance to the electricalpower supply.WARNING:This appliance must be installedby a licensed plumber or gasfitter when installed within theCommonwealth of Massachusetts.
